There is rarely a good sign when a content provider to reuse the existing equipment, rather than choosing to develop new materials, but that is what we seem to have symptoms of the patient with the Merck Manual of. The book boasts that it “allows users to quickly assess the information they need to diagnose and treat patients, which represents only the question of what to do all other versions of the Merck Manual. To be fair, the rest long-in-the tooth, on-laurels Merck Manuals probably need a makeover – but it is not true. What remains is a small book on innovation and quality is likely to take on the fast track to trade a bin at your local bookstore. Rating: 5.2
